On the 10th December, 2016, US Secretary of State John Kerry, as part of his (farewell) trip to Paris, gave a speech at a meeting of Foreign Ministers. In his speech, Mr Kerry said (at around the 7 minute mark in the video below) that he understands what they [“Syrian opposition”] are fighting for,” and understands their bravery and courage…

Yes, that’s right – John Kerry just complimented Al Qaeda. Whilst this is not the first time he has done this, the fact that he is saying this now, when the true nature of the “moderate” opposition’s “commingling” with Jabhat al-Nusra is as transparent as ever, is essentially spitting on the graves of the 2000 people who died on September 11th, 2001, in New York, as well as on the graves of the US troops who have died as a result of this illegal incursion in the Levant.

This is the same John Kerry who was weeping crocodile tears for the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks back in 2015:

However, the complete and utter hypocrisy does not stop here. On the very same day, according to CNN, French Foreign Minister Jean Marc-Ayrault awarded Mr Kerry with the highest honour in France for “his indefatigable efforts in favor of peace”:

“French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault presented Kerry with the insignia of Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor at a ceremony in Paris in which he recalled Kerry’s family connections with France and praised his diplomatic endeavors.

Accepting the award, Kerry said he was “humbled” and that it reflected the special relationship between France and the United States, their long history and shared values.”

CNN noted that the “Legion of Honor” was a creation of Napoleon, so in this regard, the award is appropriate in the sense that neither Kerry nor Napoleon was able to conquer Russia, in any sense of the phrase.

According to a RT journalist who was at the Friends of Syria event prior to the Foreign Minister meeting, John Kerry had left his poker face back in Washington:

So there we have it. Mr Kerry had a direct role in arming Jihadists in Syria, but managed to bag a state award in France – a country that Al Qaeda has recently threatened – for services to peace. Hypocrisy 10¹⁰⁰⁰⁰.
